A 1200-m long six-lane bridge would be constructed to ease the traffic bottlenecks to visit the well-known pilgrimage site of Shringverpur Dham. It is a part of the ambitious Ram Van Gaman Path project. A 30 km road would be constructed in Kaushambi district from Avtarpur in Pratapgarh to Muratganj, a part of the route believed to be taken by Lord Ram for exile. On the Ganga, a six-lane bridge has been approved. The overall investment on this whole project is Rs 1,785 crore. Keshav Prasad Maurya, the Deputy CM, informed that for the elderly people, a ramp would be built. By October, this phase of the project would be ready, and the construction of the Ram Van Gaman path would be finished, along with the installation of the Kalash of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. The work of Ram Van Gaman Marg would be done in four phases, beginning from Mohanlalganj to Raipura in Chitrakoot. The total length of the route would be 132 km, for which the government has incurred an amount of Rs 3,300 crore. The Deputy CM revealed that there are 44 religious sites on the Ram Van Gaman Marg, associated with Lord Ram. The construction of National Highway No 731A (Mohanganj to Jethwara - Shringverpur - Muratganj - Mahewaghat - Rajapur to Chitrakoot) would be completed in four phases. During the first phase, the length of the road from Mohanganj to Autarpur is 35 km. In the second phase, the range of Autarpur to Muratganj is 29.682 km, in which a 1200-m long six-lane bridge is proposed (on the river Ganga Shringverpur Dham). The third phase has a length of 48.068 km and is from Muratganj to Mahewaghat (proposed to be broadened to four lanes). The route also comprises Rajapur bypass and Manjhanpur bypass. The fourth phase is from Rajapur to Raipura, which has an overall length of 19.25 km. The expense estimated for the route from Mohanganj to Raipura would be nearly Rs 3,300 crore. The construction would be done in the upcoming three years. The development would take place at a speedy pace after construction for Ram Van Gaman Marg is done. It would promote tourism and employ many people. Maurya also revealed that travelling from Kaushambi to Andawa would become easy, as the road would be extended to four-lane in future.
