NIBE Secures Rs 1.5 Billion Export Order for Rocket Launchers

NIBE Limited, a pioneering Indian defence systems manufacturer, has secured a major export Purchase Order valued at USD 17.52 million (approximately Rs 1.5 billion) from a globally recognised Israeli technology firm. The order includes the manufacturing and supply of Universal Rocket Launchers with a range of up to 300 kilometres—an advanced system being built in India for global deployment for the first time.

This achievement marks a significant milestone for both NIBE and India’s defence sector. It supports the Honourable Prime Minister’s Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India initiatives by showcasing indigenous capability in high-tech weaponry.

The rocket launcher system is among the most advanced in its class and is engineered to outperform global alternatives. The deal not only drives NIBE’s international expansion but also boosts India’s global standing in modern defence innovation.

NIBE continues to deliver high-impact solutions through global collaborations while serving both domestic and international clients. This order reinforces its role in enhancing national self-reliance and strategic defence capability.
