Indeed Smart City: Dentsu announces smart city initiative

Largest Japanese advertising agency, Dentsu's corporate social responsibility (CSR) advisory arm announces Indeed Smart City initiative aiming for economic modernisation in India.
The purpose of this initiative is in line with India鈥檚 aspirations for economic modernisation, which are associated with the country鈥檚 Smart City Mission.
The smart city will present solutions over domains such as smart infrastructure under the Area Based Development (ABD) initiative.
The Indeed smart city initiative will also focus on information and communications technology (ICT) from integrated command and control centres (ICCC) to safety and surveillance, city collaboration platforms (CCP), city wi-fi solutions, smart poles, video analytics, and more.
A smart city specialist, Ajay Singh has been designated as vice president to create the Indeed smart city initiative. He has more than 17 years of experience working with the government, public sector, manufacturing, and utilities. He has strong expertise in large-scale digital transformation projects as an enterprise and solution architect in power- generation, transmission, and distribution utility.
Before this, he has served several companies such as Reliance energy, Hindustan Computers Ltd (HCL) technologies, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Infotech, Fluentgrid, Deloitte, PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PWC), and IQVIA.
Ajay Singh said that I am honored to have the opportunity to lead Dentsu's Indeed smart city in India- a network with industry-leading Out-of-home (OOH) technology, a creative thinking team, and unique innovation architecture with its firm commitment to the community.
He further added that emerging from the Covid-19 pandemic, he is confident that Indeed smart city will grow to become the trusted smart solutions technology partner across the globe and will give a more sustainable and resilient future to the cities.
