Pawan Sain reviews smart city projects

Pawan Kumar Sain, the Urban Development (UD) Commissioner, mentioned that he had conducted an inspection of various projects under the Pasighat Smart City Mission (SCM), Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC), and the UD department. He mentioned that he was accompanied by officers and the SP, Sumit Kumar Jha, during the visit to the project sites on a bicycle, and he emphasised the importance of eco-friendly development.

He stated that he had expressed satisfaction with the project quality and pace and had also emphasised the significance of reducing the carbon footprint in asset creation. He added that he had inspected the state's first automated multi-level smart car park facility at Bakin Pertin General Hospital.

During his two-day visit, the commissioner mentioned that he had held a review meeting with local authorities and project management consultants. He explained that the meeting had included discussions on the project status, with several projects receiving focused attention due to their scale and budget allocation. Dr Manjuli Komut, CEO, had emphasised the commitment to completing all projects within the stipulated timeframe, according to him.
