Om Swachtha Corporation to carry out sanitation work in Old Ayodhya

Solid waste management company Om Swachtha Corporation will perform sanitation work in 15 Ayodhya Dham wards (old Ayodhya).

The company will perform mechanised sweeping and maintain street lights in the rest of the city.

According to Vishal Singh, Ayodhya Municipal Commissioner, sanitation work was outsourced through a tender process in response to state government directives.

A total of seven companies took part in the process.

Om Swachtha Corporation emerged as the top contender after a thorough examination of financial and technical bids.

The top three companies from a field of seven were chosen based on their financial bids.

According to a representative of the Ayodhya Municipal Corporation, Om Swachtha Corporation's financial bids were the lowest.

The company will concentrate on door-to-door garbage collection in the 15 wards.

The company is planning to post information about all three companies on its website.

Garbage collection has become a major issue in Ayodhya Dham, especially as the number of visitors grows due to the ongoing construction of the Ram Mandir.

According to a corporation official, around 1,900 sanitation workers have failed to keep the town clean.
