Media Fusion and Crain Communications will jointly host the Bharat Recycling Show 2025, India's largest trade exhibition and conference focused on commodity recycling. Scheduled for 13鈥15 November 2025 at the Bombay Exhibition Center in Mumbai, the event will convene industry leaders, policymakers, and innovators to spotlight cutting-edge recycling technologies and sustainable waste management practices.
Co-located with the 2nd edition of Plastics Recycling Show India, the event will deliver a 360-degree showcase of solutions across various sectors. This collaboration aims to foster cross-industry engagement and accelerate progress toward a more robust circular economy in India.
Taher Patrawala, Managing Director of Media Fusion, noted that India鈥檚 waste management market is projected to reach USD 18.4 billion by 2030, yet currently only 30 per cent of recyclable waste is processed. The Bharat Recycling Show 2025 aims to address this gap by bringing together a broad spectrum of commodities, stakeholders, and ideas to spur innovation, policy advancement, and sustainable waste solutions.
The exhibition will span a wide range of recycling streams including metals, electronic waste, batteries, end-of-life vehicles, tyres, paper, construction and demolition debris, wood, and textiles. The metals section will feature both ferrous and non-ferrous materials such as iron, steel, aluminium, copper, zinc, lead, nickel, and precious metals like gold and silver.
The event will also spotlight advancements in e-waste management, sustainable battery reuse, dismantling of end-of-life vehicles, tyre recycling innovations, and paper waste recovery. Further emphasis will be placed on recycling of construction waste, wood repurposing, and fabric waste management in the textile sector.
Supported by industry associations like the India Lead Zinc Development Association (ILZDA) and MTLEXS, the show will feature top domestic and international companies, including LAMACART, Forest Resources, and Power Hydrotech, among others, showcasing the latest recycling technologies tailored to India鈥檚 market needs.
Matthew Barber, Global Events Director at Crain Communications, highlighted that the event comes at a critical time for India's recycling industry. Following the success of the Plastics Recycling Show India, he stressed the importance of showcasing multi-commodity solutions, addressing policy hurdles, and enabling meaningful stakeholder collaboration to enhance India's waste management landscape.
In addition to the exhibition, a high-level conference will explore topics such as circular economy frameworks, sustainable packaging innovations, regulatory barriers, emerging recycling technologies, and future trends. The aim is to bridge knowledge gaps, encourage industry dialogue, and accelerate the adoption of scalable, eco-friendly solutions.
Bharat Recycling Show 2025 is poised to be a landmark event in strengthening India's journey toward a cleaner, more sustainable waste management ecosystem.
