Mahindra Aerostructures, the aerospace division of the Mahindra Group, has signed a $300 million contract with Spain鈥檚 Aernnova to collaborate on the design and manufacturing of advanced aircraft components. This strategic partnership is set to enhance Mahindra鈥檚 capabilities in high-precision machining, composite assemblies, and systems integration for global aerospace clients.
As part of the agreement, Mahindra Aerostructures will leverage its Bangalore manufacturing facility to jointly develop and supply critical aerostructures and fuselage components. These parts will support both civil and defence aerospace programmes, opening new avenues in the global aviation supply chain.
The collaboration will enable technology transfer and skill enhancement in advanced aerospace manufacturing techniques. The partnership is expected to generate approximately Rs鈥�25 billion in revenue over the course of the agreement, bolstering India鈥檚 position in high-value aerospace exports and contributing to the government鈥檚 Make in India initiative.
Leadership from both companies emphasised the partnership鈥檚 alignment with their long-term visions. It will not only enhance Mahindra鈥檚 capabilities but also expand Aernnova鈥檚 global sourcing network.
