Power Grid Corporation of India announced that it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Ltd (RRVPNL) to establish a joint venture aimed at executing intra-state transmission projects valued at Rs 100 billion. The filing, submitted to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), outlined that the proposed joint venture will embark on these projects in Rajasthan in a phased manner. The MoU, inked on March 10, 2024, solidifies the commitment between Power Grid and RRVPNL to collaborate on vital energy infrastructure initiatives within the state.
