Bharat Patel, Director-Sales & Marketing, Nav Nirman Formwork Systems Pvt Ltd is an MBA with specialisation in marketing. He might be just five years in the industry but has competently delivered on big scale projects for the company. Among them is the upcoming Riverside Mall project in Chennai with a built-in area of more than 1million sq ft, one of the largest in Chennai. His innovative thought process led to the use of Nav Nirman麓s Formwork H-Beam for the project that fulfilled the requirements of the client for a formwork system that provided a good concrete finish, faster implementation time with minimal labour cost. Patel feels that the modern formwork industry is at a nascent stage in India. And it has been his endeavour to tackle the challenge of increasing the acceptance of the technology in a price sensitive Indian market. In the years to come he expects the market for advanced formwork to grow manifold with a gradual shift in acceptance.
