Allen Engineering has launched its E-Screed by Magic Screed, which can level an area four times larger with less energy compared to the conventional screeds. The firm revealed that it uses a lithium-ion battery pack to decrease weight and give screed vibration while also managing the same energy and performance as the original Magic Screed. The latest E-Screed鈥檚 high-frequency vibration gives uniform distribution across the whole blade length, which improves the structural integrity of the concrete by consolidation. It has a 1.5-horsepower, 40-volt lithium-ion battery and gives 26.5 amp-hours of juice to the unit, providing vibration speeds up to 7,500 rpm and depth consolidation up to 6 inches. The new E-Screed comes with a harness created from durable, easy-to-clean material, making it easier for the operator to handle the machine. It has adjustable handles and a battery unit backpack adding comfort for operators working on long hours on sizable jobs. While also using Magic Screed blades from 4 to 16 ft in length with the new E-Screed. The brushless electric motor and emissions-free power source of E-Screed decrease the maintenance tasks.
