The President noted that India鈥檚 development philosophy is rooted in nourishment over exploitation and protection over elimination. She acknowledged India鈥檚 achievements in fulfilling its Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) under international agreements and expressed confidence in the country鈥檚 ability to lead global sustainability efforts.

Recognising the National Green Tribunal鈥檚 (NGT) role in environmental governance, she commended its contributions to climate justice through landmark decisions impacting public health and ecological conservation. She urged institutions and citizens to work together toward a greener future, reinforcing India鈥檚 commitment to global environmental leadership.

The National Conference on 鈥楨nvironment 鈥� 2025鈥�, organised by the NGT, serves as a platform for key stakeholders to discuss environmental challenges, share best practices, and develop action plans for sustainable environmental management.
