Nitin Gadkari inaugurates Rs 4,160 cr road projects in Uttar Pradesh

Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari inaugurated and laid foundation stones of road projects costing Rs 4,160 crore in the Jaunpur and Mirzapur districts of Uttar Pradesh.

While in Jaunpur, Gadkari laid the foundation stone for three national highway projects worth Rs 1,123 crore, he inaugurated four national highway projects in Mirzapur worth Rs 3,037 crore.

Addressing the gathering, Gadkari highlighted infrastructure growth for employment creation and economic prosperity.

He told the media that they are committed to the growth of Uttar Pradesh. These road projects will boost state development and render better connectivity in the area.

The minister said that these road projects would boost the movement of goods with better connectivity in the area and enable access to markets for agricultural produce, local and other products.
